Martha

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Martha grew their love for hair as well as makeup in high school. Very shortly after graduating in 2016, they began their journey in the beauty industry at Paul Mitchell the School Cleveland and afterwards made the move to New York City to attend the Make Up For Ever Academy, completing their 6 month Masters program at the end of 2017. After working as a freelance makeup artist for a few years in the city (and 4 months in Cleveland due to the pandemic) Martha realized that while they loved their time in the makeup industry, they sought a more structured and personal, yet still artistically fulfilling environment – making Fleischman Salon the perfect fit! Men’s cuts were one of their favorite things to learn in school, so naturally Martha was very eager and excited to learn the “Fleischman Flow” from Erica and look forward to continuing to improve their craft while connecting with Fleischman clientele. When the shears in comb aren’t in their hands, you can find them singing covers with their ukulele and dancing at an 80’s night somewhere in Bushwick.
